Nothing can get bigger than this! Boy, this a dream pre-launch hoopla for any product. Google's Nexus One is clearly the most awaited device of the year and the blogosphere is on fire. Every small detail of Nexus One is being talked about by techies all over the world. After the images and videos of the Google Nexus One, the next big thing on people's mind is its specs and features.

Though Google employees have remained tight-lipped about Nexus One specifics, ROM hackers have been able to dig deep into the Nexus One's system files to explore the hardware inside the device.

According to blog reports, Nexus One runs on Android 2.1, a proximity and ambient light sensor, an accelerometer, a magnetic compass, a stereo FM speaker, WiFi, OpenGL ES 2.0-capable graphics, a noise-cancellation chipset and references to an auto-focus camera with LED flash. Sources also claim that the phone's ROM 2.1 packs a Snapdragon processor inside.

Snapdragon processor is capable of clock speeds that top 1GHz, which is nearly double the processor speed of Motorola's much-talked DROID. The Nexus One is also believed to have OpenGL ES 2.0 support, which is a great stuff for gamers. Nexus One will also sport an FM tuner and 802.11n chipset (most smart phones currently support 802.11g).
