Haryana saw a multi-cornered poll contest with Congress (90), BJP (90), INLD-SAD alliance (90), BSP (86), HJC-BL (87) putting up a total of 443 candidates out of a total of 1,222.

The Polling for Delhi assembly elections 2008 started on a low key note on Saturday morning. With the Mumbai terror stand-off coming to an end, the polling picked up as people left their TV sets to move out to vote.
