Govt okays further revision in salary for PSU officers
About 4 lakh officers of public sector Undertakings/PSUs will benefit from a government decision that gives them a further increase in salary and allowances. This increases is over & above the salary hikes announced last year.
The decision regarding revision in salary/pay structure was taken at the Cabinet meeting which was presided over by PM Manmohan Singh.
The new improved pay packages will also include increase in HRA and retirement benefits.
Briefing reporters after the Cabinet meeting, Mr P Chidambaram said that the revision in the pay structure of the PSU officers would vary from company to company
