Samsung India has announced a new phone called Samsung Metro 5200. It is a slider phone and does not belong to the popular Corby series of mobiles. With this announcement, Samsung has again made its intentions very clear about its seriousness in the mobile handset business.
Samsung Metro 5200 is a slim slider mobile phone. It does not boast of spectacular features and comes with 2.1-inch 16M (240 320) color screen, FM Radio with RDS, music player and office docs support. It sports a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash and face detection. The phone, however, offers 50MB internal memory with microSD card slot expandable up to 8GB. The phone has an 800mAh battery that offers around 5 hrs talk time. Samsung Metro 5200 package comes bundled with a 1GB card.

The price of the phone is Rs. 7,439 for cities like New Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, jaipur, Mumbai, bangalore and others.
