The government is going to issue the notification regarding the implementation of the 6th Pay Commission’s recommendation on Friday, August 29, 2008.
The Union Cabinet (India) has given its approval for the implementation of the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission. The revised pay scales recommended by the committee will come into effect from 1/1/2006 and revised rates of allowances from 1/9/2008
