Symbiosis national aptitude test 2010, snap test, symbiosis institutes
Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is a common written test for the admission processes of Symbiosis postgraduate institutes. These institutes are either approved by AICTE or affiliated to SIEC Deemed University. SNAP Test is conducted under the aegis of SIEC Deemed University.
It is mandatory for candidates to appear for SNAP for admission into any postgraduate programme at Symbiosis.

HOW to APPLY for IIT JMET 2010
JMET 2010 Application Form has to be submitted ONLINE. ONLINE submission of application can be done by accessing the website of any of the IITs or IISc. There are two modes of applying based on the method of fee payment that you choose.
1. By Core Banking
2. By Demand Draft
The application fee is Rs.350/- for SC/ST/PD candidates and Rs. 750/- for all other candidates. After applying ONLINE, there are some documents that you will have to post to the "Chairman, GATE Office, IISc Bangalore-560012".
JMET 2010 Examination
Candidates will be required to appear in a single paper of three hours duration. The examination will be held from 10:00 hrs to 13:00 hrs on Sunday, December 13, 2009. The question paper will be in english only.
Before applying for JMET 2010, candidates must assure themselves that they are eligible to seek admission to the specific programme they are interested in. The eligiblity criteria for admission to the various management schools are different in various Institutes. For more details, the candidates are required to contact the Institutes to which they are interested in seeking admission.
After qualifying JMET 2010, a candidate has to apply separately to each of the schools / departments of management in various IITs wherein she / he wishes to seek admission. The application duly filled in and signed must reach the concerned Institute by January 30, 2010.
Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI) for candidates seeking admission will be held at the respective Institutes.

All India Management Association (AIMA) conducts Management Aptitude Test (MAT) for admissions in post graduation degree and diploma programs. All students who are graduate from any discipline from a recognized university can sit for MAT. Final year students can also apply.
Application forms for December MAT will be available all AIMA Nodal Centers and Bank of Baroda branches. Last date of receipt of filled form at AIMA New Delhi is 12th November 2009.
According to the available information the MAT Test 2009 will be conducted on 6th December 2009.

A Tsunami Advisory means that a tsunami capable of producing strong currents or waves dangerous to persons in or very near the water is imminent or expected.

After a massive earthquake of 7.9 magnitude that occurred along a plate boundary in the American Samoa Island area at 6:48 AM local time, there was a tsunami affecting the island. Over 40 people have died and lots of villages have been swept away after tsunami. The death toll is expected to rise as many people are missing.
The US Geological Survey put the magnitude of the quake, which was located about 204 km southwest of Samoa, at 8.0 on the Richter scale after earlier estimating it at 8.3.
