IIT JEE (IIT Joint Entrance Examination) is held for admission into the prestigious IITs and other institutes in India. At present, there are fifteen Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs).
The application form of IIT JEE 2010 will be available from the third week of November 2009.
The last date to submit iit jee 2010 application form is the third week of December 2009.
The results of IIT JEE2009 will be declared in the Last week of the month May, 2010.
The applicant for IIT JEE must have passed Intermediate (12th standard) or equivalent having 60% (55% for SC/ST applicants). Age limit is 25 years (30 yrs for SC/ST candidates) on Oct. 1st 2009.
Candidates have to attempt 2 papers of 3 hours duration in IIT JEE entrance exam. Both papers are of objective type questions from Physics, Maths and Chemistry. Negative marking is also done for wrong answers.
