Arvind Adiga has been honored with this year's booker Prize for his debut novel, "the white tiger".
The India born 34 years old writer is the youngest novelist and one of two debutants among the six authors short-listed for the coveted Booker prize, was nominated for "The White Tiger."
Another Indian, Amitav Ghosh was nominated for "Sea of Poppies," while Australia's Steve Toltz is the other first-time novelist on the list.
