Motorola Droid, also known as Motorola Milestone in Europe (GSM model) is one of the top-most and sought after smartphones, also known as the real competitor to the iconic iphone. Motorola droid boasts of rich features such as a powerful processor and camera, slider Qwerty keyboard and 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen.
Motorola Droid was released on November 6 in the US and has sold over 800,000 units since then. Buyoed by its success, Motorola has decided to launch it in Asia, including India. The date of the launch is, however, not clear. It is being sait that it will probably be launched in the first quarter of 2010.
Regarding the price: Since Motorola Droid/milestone is the smartest Android Phone, it will be priced higher than the current top-end Android model in India; HTC Hero, which costs around Rs 30000/-. So industry watchers believe that the Droid will be price somewhere around Rs 35000/-.
