New Hyundai i10 1.2L, New Hyundai i10 1.2L Kappa Engine, i10 Kappa
Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has launched the new i10 powered by new 1.2L Kappa engine. In addition to the extra poer, the new four-cylinder, 1.2 litre Kappa engine will deliver greater fuel efficiency and better emissions, said Hyundai Motor India Ltd in a press release in Chennai.
With the launch of the new Kappa engine, HMIL also inaugurated the engine and transmission plant at Sriperumbudur, which will produce the new Kappa engine for i10 for the domestic and the overseas market. The new engine and transmission plant at Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu has a capacity of 250,000 units per annum.
The new Hyundai Kappa i10 1.2 L will come in three variants: the Magna, Sportz and the Asta. The Asta will sport ll top-end features such as the sunroof, 2-Din audio system, a unique red pack for the Sportz interiors and some class leading safety features like anti-lock braking system (ABS) and dual airbags.Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has said that the new kappa i10 1.2L will be sold along with the current Epsilon i10 1.1 L and will be available in 10 colours.
