South India's popular actress Nayanthara has filed a complaint with the police alleging that some people with vested interest are circulating a fake MMS clip, which reportedly shows her in a compromising position with Tamil actor Simbu.

Nayanthara has been rumoured to be romantically linked with Shimbu in the past but she says that she has a "friendly relationship" with him Shimbu.

According to some sources, the allegedly morphed MMS clip of Nayanthara began circulating from Tiruchirappalli, and it is now widely circulated.
