The Time of India, one of India's leading newspapers has started the Teach India initiative. Teach India is an initiative from the Times of India group that aims at bringing together unpriviledged children in need of education and people who can contribute a little time towards imparting education to them.
Teach India initiative is based on the simple principle that if a person has the desire to teach the unpriviledged children, the Times of India will help that person keeping in touch with those children who are willing to learn.
The Teach India initiative of the Times of India is being supported by over sixty Indian NGOs, corporates, schools and social organizations.
