Elcot to provide laptops to Tamil Nadu students

Elcot (Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited) is planning to procure i lakh laptop computers and provide the same at affordable cost to students in Tamilnadu. Elcot has planned to keep the price of the notebooks in the range of Rs 20,000 to Rs 21,000. Elcot will float an open tender for the purpose and the tender rate is likely to be finalised by early June 2008.
