M L Jerome Mathew, a naval officer and his girlfriend, Maria Monica Susairaj, a Kannada film actress, were arrested in the murder case of Neeraj Grover, the creative head of television Synergy Adlabs.
Neeraj Grover, 25, the producer of quiz show Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain, was missing since May 6. Neeraj Grover used to live alone in Versova, Mumbai.
The Kannada actress Mariya Monica Susairaj, had been questioned during the investigation of Neeraj's whereabouts, but Maria had always maintained that though Grover had come to her place for dinner around 10.30 p.m., but left thereafter to attend a party.
After lots of pressure and investigation, Mariya Monica broke down and confessed to the crime branch that she and the naval officer M L Jerome Mathew had killed Neeraj Grover.
