In a shocking development Arpana Jinaga, an Indian woman software engineer from Andhra Pradesh, was found dead in the US a few days ago.
Arpana Jinaga, 24, pursuing her MS degree at Seattle, was found dead in Washington DC in the early hours (IST) of Saturday. According to Arpana's father Basavraj C Jinaga, the 24 years old was killed sometime on Friday evening local time.
The tragic death of Arpana came to light three days after the crime. Arpana had completed her engineering from a Hyderabad based private engineering college in 2005 and was working as s software engineer & pursuing MS at the same time.
Arpana’s father, B C Jinaga, is head of Information Technology at Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University/JNTU, Hyderabad.
