Sonal Shah has been appointed as Barakc Obama’s advisor. Sonal Shah is an Indian American who works with Google.org Philanthropy arm. Sonal Shah was named "the Person of the Year” in the year 2003 and honoured for her contributions to the community.
Sonal Shah is an eminent economist and currently serves as director for global development at Google.org that promotes Google's philanthropic work. She has also worked with the Center for American Progress.
At Google.org, Sonal Shah is involved in streamlining global development strategy. Sonals'father relocated from Gujarat to the states (New York) in the year 1970.
