Pretoria Titan, the Pretoria-based team won the Pro-20 Series title and the MTN Championship in 2008- the premier domestic one-day cricket competition of S Africa. Dale Steyn is the player to be watched out for as he has the recording career-best figures of four for nine in Twenty20 cricket.
Dolphins:
The Dolphins were the runners up in the Pro-20 Series in S Africa, after winning four of their six matches. The Natal-based Dolphins lost by 18 runs against the Titans in the final. Their main star may be Pierre de Bruyn - the wicketkeeper-batsman was the leading runscorer for Dolphins in last season.
Middlesex:
Middlesex County Cricket Club won the Twenty20 Cup, beating Kent in the final, and earned berths for the Twenty20 Champions League in India and the Stanford Series in Antigua.
Sialkot Stallions:
The Sialkot cricket team plays in first-class domestic competitions in Pakistan. Sialkot Stallions were the national champion in 2005-2006 and won Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Championship (Golden League) . They were runnerup in 2006-2007 and also won ABN-AMRO Twenty-20 Cup in 2005-2006 and 2006-2007. Noted players include Imran Nazir, Mohammad Asif and Shoaib Malik.
