The Mumbai terror attack has taken its toll on Cricket too. The first edition of the IPL Champions League twenty20, which was scheduled to be played in Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai from December 3rd to Dec 10 has been postponed due to terror attacks in Mumbai.

The decision regarding postponement was taken on Thursday by the Champions League t20 Governing Council. The governing council took the decision after consulting the 3 founding board members of the tournament: BCCI, Cricket Australia and Cricket South Africa.

Lalit Modi, the Chairman of the IPL Champions League twenty20, said, "We held consultations among all the parties involved including the founding members of the Champions League, the participating teams and members of the Governing Council after the unfortunate terrorist attacks in Mumbai on Wednesday night.
