The captured terrorist in Mumbai attacks is Azam Amir Kasav
Azam Amir Kasav is the a terrorist captured by the Indian forces for involvement in the November 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.
Azam Amir Kasav was captured on Close Circuit TV/CCTV during his attacks at CST/Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus along with another terrorist. According to the Indian securit forces, preliminary investigations show that Azam hails from Faridkot in Pakistan and had received arms training in Pakistan.
Azam has reportedly told the investigating agencies that they wanted to do a JW Marriot on and reduce the Taj Hotel to rubbles.
Azam along with hiscolleague attacked CST/Victoria terminus and then fled towardsto Girgaum Chowpatty in a stolen Skoda. A team of police from Gamdevi station intercepted them. Azam's partner was killed while he was shot on the hand.
