Gujarat State Wide Area Network (SWAN) is one of the core infrastructure elements of the National e-Gvernance Programme, SWAN.
The objective of GSWAN or Gujarat State Wide Area Network is to provide a 3-tier networking system in which the state, district and block headquarters will be connected in a closed user group via a wide area network/WAN encompassing all the three levels i.e. State, District and the Block.
GSWAN will go a long way in providing the state-of-the-art e-Governance infrastructure in the state of Gujarat. The reponsibilty of realizing the overall objectives of the National e-Governance Plan in the country, is enshrined in this project. Find more information on the official website:
