Dr. P.P.S. Mathur is the Vice Chancellor of this esteemed university.This University has been established with the objectives of giving advance knowledge in medicine and dentistry and to ensure it as an efficient and systematic teaching, training and research center. Rajasthan University of Health Sciences has a multipurpose super-specialty hospital and trauma centre. It aims to establish a nursing training centre, including the Rehabilitation and Artificial Limb Centre, blood bank, pathological laboratories. Further Rajasthan University of Health Sciences also aims to develop a gene-therapy, molecular biology, robotic surgery, bio-informatics, organs transplantation, bio-technology, immunology and clinical epidemiology labs, and to provide other facilities in medicine and dentistry. Rajasthan University of Health Sciences is making all efforts to make this University a pioneer University in medical research and education.
